Maintaining the privacy of our visitors and users is vitally important to us. At Daughters of Deborah Ministries Inc, we have a few essential privacy principles:


•    We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
•    We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the ongoing operation of one of our services.
•    In our blogging products, we aim to make it as simple as possible for you to control what’s visible to the public, seen by search engines, kept private, and permanently deleted.
•    We acknowledge and respect your right to control your personal information.

 

This privacy notice will advise you about our guidelines concerning the use of your personal information, including the reasonable efforts we make to protect your personal information in accordance with these guidelines, and about what choices you have concerning our use of such information. Below is our privacy policy, which incorporates these goals. Please read this notice carefully.

Daughters of Deborah Ministries Inc (“Daughters of Deborah”) operates the Project Youth Wellness websites including projectpw.org  and all subdomains of projectyw.org (collectively, “websites”). It is Daughters of Deborah’ policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.


The security policy stated herein does not apply to any third-party content or websites linked to from www.projectyw.org. Always be cautious when submitting personal information online. Youth under 18 years of age should not give out any personal information without parental permission.


All of our websites are protected by SSL certificates to ensure that data is secure.


The information we collect from these websites may be shared with our Daughters of Deborah affiliates (“Affiliate Organizations”) and/or our partners. What we say below is true and binding for collectively Daughters of Deborah, its Affiliate Organizations, and our partners, and the promises we make below are true against Daughters of Deborah, our Affiliate Organizations, and our partners. Any information shared with our partners and funders will be limited to general statistics for overall site usage (e.g., number of contacts, type of contacts, donation summary, etc.).


Website Visitors
Like most website operators, Daughters of Deborah collects information that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Daughters of Deborah’ purpose in collecting this technical information is to better understand how Daughters of Deborah’ visitors use its website.
Daughters of Deborah also collects personal information that may directly or indirectly identify you, like your Internet Protocol (IP) address, full name, and your email address if you create an account with us.  Daughters of Deborah only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses the personal information as described below.


Non-Personally Identifiable Information
We collect non-personally identifiable information without limitation, through the use of the following types of methodology:
•    “Cookie” technology: A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser, which may then store it on your system to help enhance your experience in using our sites and to provide us with technical information about your usage.
•    IP address tracking: An IP address is a number that is assigned to your computer when you are on the Internet. When you request pages from our Sites, our site host’s servers log your IP address.
•    Although an industry-standard do-not-track (DNT) protocol has not yet been established, The Daughters of Deborah information collection and disclosure practices and the choices it offers to our users will continue to operate as described in this Policy.


Gathering and Use of Personal Information
Certain visitors to Daughters of Deborah’ websites choose to interact with Daughters of Deborah in ways that require Daughters of Deborah to gather personal information. The amount and type of information that Daughters of Deborah gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account at projectyw.org to provide their full name, physical address and email address. Those who engage in transactions with Daughters of Deborah – by donating, for example – are asked to provide additional information, such as credit card information required to process the donations. In each case, Daughters of Deborah collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Daughters of Deborah.


Daughters of Deborah provides a secure website for volunteering, partnering, and making donations, using a 3-D Secure protocol. In addition, the Daughters of Deborah does not store your credit card or debit card information or bank account information on our website. In order to complete a transaction, credit card and/or PayPal information will need to be entered each time you make a donation or register for an event.


Daughters of Deborah does not disclose personal information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personal information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.


When you share your information with us or make a donation, we assume that means that you would like to stay engaged with our organization.  If, however, you do not engage with us over the course of seven years, we will delete your information in order to respect your privacy.


Aggregated Statistics
Daughters of Deborah may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, Daughters of Deborah may monitor the most popular page on projectyw.org. Daughters of Deborah may display this aggregated information publicly or provide it to others. However, Daughters of Deborah does not disclose personal information other than as described below.


Protection of Certain Personal Information
Daughters of Deborah discloses personal information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to access that information in order to process it on Daughters of Deborah’ behalf or to provide services available at Daughters of Deborah websites, and (ii) maintain privacy and security measures that reflect the importance of your personal information.


Daughters of Deborah will not rent or sell personal information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors, partners and Affiliated Organizations, as described above, Daughters of Deborah discloses personal information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Daughters of Deborah believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Daughters of Deborah, third parties or the public at large.


If you are a registered user of our projectyw.org website and have supplied your email address, Daughters of Deborah may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Daughters of Deborah and our services. If you would not like to receive these emails, please contact us at wichitapyw@gmail.com or click the “unsubscribe” link in our emails.  If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Daughters of Deborah takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of personal information.  All website user accounts are password protected; only users have access to their individual passwords. Our email, database and website are SSL encrypted.

A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Daughters of Deborah uses cookies to help Daughters of Deborah identify and track visitors, their usage of Daughters of Deborah website, and their website access preferences. Daughters of Deborah websites are operated in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to Daughters of Deborah will be transferred to the United States by using Daughters of Deborah websites (which is hosted by Wix, a service-provider) participating in any Daughters of Deborah programming, and/or providing us with your information, you consent to this transfer.

Our websites may contain links that direct you to websites not controlled or affiliated with Daughters of Deborah.  This privacy policy does not apply to external links, and you should be aware that external links will be governed by the privacy policies of those third parties.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Daughters of Deborah may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Daughters of Deborah’ sole discretion. Daughters of Deborah encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acknowledgement of such change.


Protection of Children's Privacy
Our Daughters of Deborah’s Project Youth Wellness program services are directed at individuals in grades 9th through 12th, which includes children under the age of 18.  Children under the age of 18 must obtain parental consent prior to participating in PYW services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 on our website.  If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us personal information without parental consent, we will delete such information from our files.
